It is includes 4078 releves and was involved for the development of controlled vegetation classification methods. The classification schemes and phytocoenotic characteristics of syntaxa of the vegeration of agricultural ecosystems of Ukraine were proposed, especially for the vegetation of agricultural land areas (59 associations and 3 unranked communities belonging to 7 classes), the vegetation of agricultural forest strips (6 associations and 1 unranked community from 1 class) and the vegetation of fallow land areas (35 associations and 29 unranked communities from 9 classes). Two associations were described as new for sciences and 4 associations have been firstly indicated for Ukraine. The place of these types of vegetation organization in the similar European system has been determined and rare plant species were established. Changes in segetal communities during last 50 years have been identified. The hierarchical classification scheme for ecosystem services of the forest strips of Ukraine has been developed. Methodological recommendations for the organization of comprehensive measures for the ecological rehabilitation of forest strips have been proposed. Different stages of demutational successions on fallow land areas of Ukraine were described. Leading ecological factors of the differentiation of the vegetation of agricultural ecosystems were identified. It has been established that the territorial distribution of the vegetation of agricultural ecosystems is determined by the interaction of zonal patterns, edaphic conditions, the type of agricultural technologies, the history of economic development of these territories, the assortment of cultivated and introduced species, and the dynamics of an adventive flora.
