Registration Date 31-01-2026 Organization Kherson State Maritime Academy popup.description1 The aim of the work is tо analyze of the economic and law problems of the maritime industry and the formation of theoretical and methodological foundations of the mechanism for managing the innovative development of shipping companies and industry organizations in order to promote the recovery of the Ukraine economy, as well as their implementation in the educational process to improve the training of specialists in the maritime industry popup.description2 The object of research is the functioning of shipping companies, port infrastructure, institutions of higher maritime education, norms of international maritime and humanitarian law, international standards of labor protection at sea, and methods of teaching legal components. The purpose of the study – generalize the directions of development of the maritime industry in the world, to substantiate the need to create an ecosystem of the marine industry, which will include shipping companies, ports, and institutions of higher education, to obtain strategic advantages and overcome global challenges, to systematize internationally illegal actions of the RF in the maritime space, to develop an integration model for teaching international maritime law, to propose ways of harmonizing international standards of labor protection at sea with national legislation based on the analysis of the peculiarities of legal regulation of labor protection in sea transport. The scientific the research novelty – the concept of the maritime industry triad, which integrates the shipping companies work, port infrastructure, and higher education institutions, was suggested for the first time. The undermining of the current norms regarding freedom of navigation and protection of civilian ships is substantiated, the legal qualification of the blockade of Ukrainian ports is provided and its inconsistency with international humanitarian law is established, the internationally illegal actions of the RF in the maritime space are systematized, which is essential both for the development of Ukraine and for international institutions to improve current regulatory documents. The impact of the RF's armed aggression on the functioning of the Black Sea's legal regime was determined. Problems related to ensuring labor protection on sea vessels are systematized, and directions for harmonizing international standards regarding labor protection at sea with national legislation are determined.
