Development of a method for assessing the metabolic status of animals with consideration of the influence of housing conditions and climatic factors. Development of drugs for the prevention and treatment of metabolic disorders in animals popup.description2 To overcome the negative changes caused by heat stress, a study was conducted on the use of compounds with antioxidant, osmoprotective and membrane-protective properties that can support homeostasis and the functionality of the main body systems. Such compounds include taurine, betaine and myo-inositol. The combination of taurine, betaine and myo-inositol has a synergistic effect, enhancing antioxidant protection and stabilizing metabolic processes in the body of laying hens. The combination of these substances supports the activity of SOD, CAT and GP, which contributes to the reduction of ROS and lipid peroxide products, such as lipid hydroperoxides and TBA-active products. Due to their osmoregulatory and membrane-stabilizing properties, these supplements contribute to maintaining homeostasis during TS, reducing the risk of damage to cellular structures and normalizing the functioning of the liver and kidneys. The use of complex antioxidant supplements in the diet of chickens allows to increase their resistance to stress, maintain high productivity and maintain the general physiological state of the body in conditions of climate change. Based on research, it was found that the complex use of taurine, betaine and myo-inositol contributes to: maintaining the physiological state of laying hens by reducing the level of oxidative stress; stabilizing metabolic processes, including protein and lipid metabolism, even under conditions of exposure to high temperatures; reducing economic losses in poultry farming associated with heat stress. It is recommended to include the studied supplements in the diet of laying hens under heat stress to improve their adaptation to environmental stress factors. These data can be used in programs for the development of new feed strategies aimed at ensuring the stability of production and improving the welfare of poultry.
