The object of research is the integration of ground-based and remote methods for large-scale study of erosion-prone lands. The purpose of the research is to develop methodological foundations for the integrated use of ground-based and remote methods for providing information on the agricultural use of erosion-prone lands at various territorial levels. Research methods include information and bibliographic, analytical, abstract and logical, field and laboratory-analytical studies, remote sensing, geoinformation data analysis, and mathematical modeling. As a result of the work carried out, methodological foundations for the integration of ground-based and remote methods of research of erosion-prone lands at various territorial levels have been developed. The informativeness and potential for integrating ground-based and remote methods of researching erosion-prone lands were determined, and the scientific publication “Informativeness and potential for integrating ground-based and remote methods of researching erosion-prone lands” was prepared and published (Appendix A). Methodological recommendations “Integration of ground-based and remote methods for studying erosion-prone lands” have been developed and published (Appendix B). A scientific publication entitled “Methodological foundations for integrating ground-based and remote methods for studying erosion-prone lands at different territorial levels” has been prepared (Appendix C). The methodological principles of integrating ground-based and remote methods for studying erosion-prone lands at the local territorial level were tested: field group of fields at the Grakivske State Agricultural Enterprise of the National Scientific Center “Institute of Soil Science” (Kharkiv district, Kharkiv region) (Appendix D).
