It was revealed that among the land areas, the highest sozological significance is inherent in grassy biotopes: in the biotope T1.4.a: True forb-bunchgrass and bunchgrass steppes of the steppe zone, 18 species from the Red Book of Ukraine occur and 7 formations from the Green Book of Ukraine are represented; in the petrophyte steppes on carbonate substrata of the Black Sea region (T1.2.2.b) 2 “Green Book” formations and 15 species from the Red Book of Ukraine occur; in the vegetation cover of biotopes T1.3.2 Meadow steppes on chernozems, 2 formations from the Green Book of Ukraine, 12 “Red Book species” and 2 species from Appendices II and IV of the Habitats Directive and Resolution 6 of the Bern Convention are widespread – Echium russicum, Klasea lycopifolia. For the first time, the distribution, ecological conditions of habitats, coenotic and biotope limitations, and age structure of populations of Eremogone cephalotes, Echium russicum, and Klasea lycopifolia were studied in the natural tracts of Kryvyi Rih and adjacent areas. The studied populations of E. cephalotes are limited to the biotope T1.4.a: True forb-bunchgrass and bunchgrass steppes of the steppe zone; Echium russicum occurs in communities of the biotope: T1.4.a: True forb-bunchgrass and bunchgrass steppes of the steppe zone and in communities the biotope T1.3.2 Meadow steppes on chernozems; Klasea lycopifolia is part of the biotope T1.3.2 Meadow steppes on chernozems.
