The object of the research is legal relations that arise during the detection and investigation of drug crimes under the legal regime of martial law. The subject of the research is the features of detecting and investigating drug crimes under the legal regime of martial law. The main tasks of the research work are determined taking into account the features of the purpose and subject of the research: - to formulate the concept of drug crimes and determine the relevant features of their qualification in modern conditions; - to outline the factors of the influence of martial law on the counteraction of drug crimes by units of the National Police of Ukraine; - to provide a characteristic of the units of the National Police of Ukraine as subjects of detecting drug crimes; - to determine the means of detecting drug crimes by units of the criminal police of the National Police of Ukraine; - to outline the methods of detecting drug crimes on the Internet; - to determine the features of the use of confidential cooperation for the purpose of detecting drug crimes; - to develop criteria for compliance with the law during the detection of drug crimes by operational units of the criminal police; - to determine the features of the beginning of the pre-trial investigation of drug crimes and the conduct of urgent investigative (search) actions; Results obtained: a scientific and practical manual was prepared, dedicated to the issues of detecting and investigating crimes related to the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors, under the conditions of the legal regime of martial law.
