The purpose of the study is to develop scientifically based recommendations on the correct criminal-legal qualification of criminal offenses in the field of manufacturing and trafficking in firearms, its components and parts, taking into account the specifics of the activities of organized groups and criminal organizations. The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the comprehensive approach to the analysis of criminal offenses related to the illegal trafficking of firearms committed by organized groups and criminal organizations, as well as in specifying the problematic issues of the qualification of acts provided for in Articles 201, 257, 262, 263, 263-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, taking into account the current practice of the Supreme Court and international standards for combating transnational organized crime.
