The essence of this study is to experimentally determine the dynamic parameters of the track coils of the model of the traction-levitation module of high-speed magnetolevitation transport for their further comparison. The study is aimed at obtaining the time characteristics of the track coils during their operation, as well as a reasonable choice of the coil, among the four samples, which is characterized by the maximum thrust force. popup.description2 The object of research is track coils in a full-scale model of maglev transport. The subject of research is the dynamic performance of track coils in a full-scale model of high-speed maglev transport, namely: current rise time, traction force, operating temperature conditions, as well as the influence of coil design parameters (wire diameter, number of turns, resistance, inductance) and signal jitter on these indicators. The aim of the work is to solve a number of problems directly related to the determination of track coil parameters, which is one of the main tasks of introducing maglev transport. The essence of this study is to experimentally determine the dynamic characteristics of the track coils of a model traction-levitation module of high-speed maglev transport for further comparison. It has been established that the coil marked ‘A’ is characterised by high dynamic indicators, namely: the shortest time to reach its operating mode, which is 0.4 s, and the greatest traction force, which is 139 g of load. Research methods – the research was carried out experimentally. A stand for determining the dynamic performance of track coils was developed specifically for this purpose. The main dynamic performance indicators include: the time of current rise in the coil, auxiliary indicators: traction force and temperature regimes. Time characteristics were measured using an oscilloscope, and traction force was determined by gradually loading a platform mounted on a levitating magnet with a non-magnetic load. Temperature regimes were recorded using a thermal imager. For each of the coils, a series of measurements were carried out taking into account changes in the sparseness of the electrical signal.
