The purpose of the work is to develop a mathematical model describing the dynamic state of the system, where the generator of vibration-impact loads is a freely laid sieving surface, taking into account the influence of the structural, kinematic, and dynamic parameters of the screen, as well as the geometric characteristics and mechanical properties of the sieving surface material. Research methods — theoretical studies of the state of the sieving surface under vibration and impact conditions were carried out on the basis of the fundamental principles of solid body dynamics and the theory of vibrations of dynamic systems; in the experimental part of the work, methods of experimental design, standard means of vibration measurement and chronometry were used; methods of mathematical statistics were used in the processing and analysis of the results of experimental and computational-analytical studies. Based on the developed mathematical model, the regularities of the oscillatory motion of a freely confined sieving surface were established. It was shown that with an increase in the frequency of the box oscillations, the duration of the non-stationary mode decreases, and as the natural frequency approaches the forced frequency, the oscillations acquire a quasi-harmonic character with maximum process dynamics. The influence of the vibration angle, mass, and geometric parameters of the sowing surface on the amplitude and energy characteristics of its motion has been determined, and the dominance of the galloping mode has been established. The results of the work have been implemented in the educational process of the Educational and Scientific Technological Institute of the State University of Economics and Technologies in the training of students at the third .
