The purpose of the work is to study the gas-dynamic situation in the area of the emergency section 148 of the coal seam C6 and to develop recommendations for adjusting the fire protection of the «Yuvileyna» mine, SU «Mine Management Pershotravenske” of PJSC "DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA". Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining, geological and mining-technical conditions for the preparation and development of excavation sections in the coal seam C6 of the «Yuvileyna» mine, SU «Mine Management Pershotravenske” of PJSC "DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA" were investigated. An assessment of the release of volatile substances from the C6 layer in the area of the emergency section 148 of the «Yuvileyna» mine was carried out. A conclusion was made on the gas-dynamic situation in the area of the emergency section 148 of the «Yuvileyna» coal seam. The “Recommendations for ensuring endogenous fire safety during the preparation and development of excavation sections in the C6 coal seam in the conditions of the «Yuvileyna» mine” were developed. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, the safety of mining operations will be increased, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
