The subject of the research is methods, algorithms and systems for automated assessment and prediction of the technical condition of rolling stock units. Purpose of the Work: To develop scientific and methodological foundations and practical instrumental solutions for creating intelligent monitoring systems that ensure early defect detection and residual life forecasting of critical rolling stock components to reduce accident rates. Methodology. A comprehensive approach was utilized, including. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for modeling the stress-strain state of structures; Spectral and Wavelet Analysis methods for processing diagnostic signals; Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics for resource forecasting; Machine Learning for defect classification; Full-scale experimental studies using strain gauge measurements and vibration diagnostics. A conceptual model for intelligent monitoring of rolling stock components based on the analysis of dynamic vibration spectra and thermal control has been developed. Mathematical models of degradation processes in metal structures (specifically bogie frames and wheel) under cyclic loading have been improved. A new algorithm for identifying hidden defects in cast parts based on energy response indicators and acoustic emission parameters has been proposed. An integral reliability index for multi-criteria, real-time assessment of traffic safety has been substantiated. A mobile system for determining safety indicators and the technical condition of rolling stock in operational environments has been created, comprising both hardware and specialized software. A durability calculation methodology for base structures has been developed. Product Description popup.authors Andrii S. Lytvynenko Medvediev Ievgen Pavlo M. Prokopenko Serhii S. Sova Dmytro A.
