An instrument mode for determining the velocity of hydraulic shock waves through a pipeline has been developed, which allows experimentally determining the propagation speed of acoustic waves with high accuracy due to the coordinated spatial-frequency selection of informative acoustic waves. An instrument mode for applying adaptive filtering to determine the coordinates of a leak by the correlation method has been developed. A method and instrument mode for determining the coordinates of leaks with a small signal-to-noise ratio have been developed. Generators of pipeline sounding signals adapted for production use and new acoustic emitters have been developed and created. An instrument mode for parametric analysis of correlation functions has been improved. A method and instrument mode for parametric analysis of correlation functions in the direction of analyzing acoustic waves and their sources that are not dominant in power have been developed. A correlation parametric method for determining the average wall thickness of a pipeline between access points has been developed. A hardware and software complex for the rapid detection of damage to heat and water supply systems, taking into account their wear and tear and military influences, and a methodology for its use have been created. Ways and measures for implementing the results of the research in heat and water supply enterprises, in the nuclear power industry and the oil and gas industry are presented.
