CELLS, CYTOTOXICITY, NANOPARTICLES, NANOSTRUCTURES Research objects – silver nanoparticles with a size of 10 nm, cultures of monolayer transplantable cells: bovine kidney (MDBK), dog kidney (MDCK) and Syrian hamster kidney (VNK-21), Balb/C/ mice The aim of the work is to analyze the norms of approved international documents regulating the use of nanostructured materials in terms of assessing their safety. Based on the literature search, to justify a methodological approach to assessing the risks of interaction between bio-objects and nanomaterials. To study the effect of materials on general toxicity indicators in vitro and in vivo Research methods: bibliosemantic, cytological, molecular biological, hematological, biochemical, statistical. An analysis of regulatory and legal regulation in the field of nanotechnology and scientific publications devoted to testing and standardization of nanoparticles and nanomaterials was carried out using electronic resources and databases of WHO, PubMed using the bibliosemantic method. The study examined the cytotoxic effects of 10 nm silver nanoparticles using neutral red and 3-(4-5 dimethyltriazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) dyes. The dependence of the cytotoxic effect of nanoparticles on stabilizing solutions was demonstrated. In vivo toxicological studies were conducted. It was shown that nanosilver is toxic when administered intraperitoneally in high doses. When administered orally and intravenously, it does not cause death in animals at the maximum doses studied. In all administration options, changes in biochemical and hematological parameters were observed, which were dose-dependent and dynamic over time. Product Description popup.authors Krystyna S.
