The aim of the applied research project is to create modern methodologies and automated systems (including sentiment and modality analysis) capable of detecting and analyzing various types of texts containing disinformation. The main objectives of the project are: 1) to develop principles, theoretical foundations, methods and algorithms for the automatic analysis of sentiment in written and spoken Ukrainian, as well as to create appropriate computational tools; 2) to compile corpora of contemporary written and spoken texts representing different types of sentiment; 3) to model manifestations of sentiment by lexical and prosodic means; 4) to design experimental computational models for sentiment analysis; 5) to develop linguistic and software tools for detecting specific manipulative devices (in particular, modal means) in Ukrainian-language media texts; 6) to determine the stylistic parameters of media manipulation based on the results obtained in objective 5; 7) to process information organized as a subcorpus of texts serving as a source for terminological work on creating an electronic catalogue of military terms; 8) to create an electronic catalogue of contemporary military terms; 9) to describe an algorithm for the linguistic analysis of Ukrainian-language texts of the early modern period; 10) to expand the historical subcorpus of written texts from the early modern period; 11) to develop a methodology for the automated analysis of Ukrainian-language texts of the early modern period The main ideas of the project consist in: 1) developing neural network models for sentiment analysis; 2) characterizing the sentiment; 3) creating an automated system for detecting specific manipulative devices; 4) compiling a dictionary of military terms; 5) developing an algorithm for the linguistic analysis of early texts Product Description popup.authors Mischenko Alla Leonidivna Holomozyi Vitalii V.
