The goal is also to enable efficient scaling and adaptation of these reactions for semi-automated parallel synthesis. popup.description2 The development of new tools to improve the efficiency of compound production for drug discovery is a crucial task in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry. Such methodologies are designed primarily to expand into new areas of the chemical space, that is, to develop methods for fundamentally new types of chemical compounds. On the other hand, predicting reactivity using machine learning methods is a crucial and cutting-edge task that can actually “change the game” in the chemical compound production industry. Such a discovery can significantly reduce costs and accelerate the production of the necessary chemicals due to a deeper understanding of “what and how to synthesize”. This directly leads to reduced expenses and lower final product costs, and to increased speed in achieving results across all industries that depend on the mass synthesis of compound libraries, primarily in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries. This project aims to explore the scope and limitations of the application of organosilicon compounds as condensing reagents, reducing agents, sources of fluoroalkyl anions, and difluorocarbene on a wide range of substrates containing heterocyclic fragments and functional groups, to enable predictive scaling and adaptation of reactions for semi-automated parallel synthesis.
