Mathematical models describing energy transfer from the working flow to abrasive particles and the treated surface are proposed, enabling refined estimation of compressed air and abrasive material consumption, as well as particle distribution within the working volume. An increase in the efficiency of pneumatic abrasive equipment is substantiated through the application of mechanical vibrations, which intensify the outflow of the air–abrasive mixture and enable the development of new energy-efficient flow channel designs. The erosion behavior of treated surfaces and working nozzles is investigated using a mathematical model that incorporates the Basset force in a fractional-order integro-differential form, ensuring reliable quantitative characterization of the process. The practical significance of the research lies in the development of a methodology for designing working nozzles of pneumatic abrasive units and calculating their key performance parameters and rational cleaning modes.
