The subject of the study is the mechanisms, tools and patterns of the global transformation of investment and innovation activity, as well as their impact on the formation and increase of the international competitiveness of the country. The purpose of the work is to form the theoretical and methodological foundations of the transformation of investment and innovation strategies in the system of ensuring the international competitiveness of countries, including the national economy in the current conditions of global changes, as well as to substantiate the strategic priorities of managing investment and innovation activity at all levels of management of the domestic economy, in the context of implementing the European integration course of Ukraine. Research methods are systemic, economic and statistical, factor, economic and mathematical and comparative analysis, logical generalization, graphical method. The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the deepening of existing, development and substantiation of new scientific and methodological approaches to the transformation of investment and innovation activities in the context of globalization and ensuring the international competitiveness of the country, taking into account global trends in the development of technologies, global investment flows and the internationalization of innovation processes. The practical value of the results of the research is scientifically based methods for assessing and improving investment and innovation activities, taking into account the strategic priorities of the country's development, the impact of global transformations, the internationalization of innovation processes and the dynamics of world investment flows, which ensure an increase in its international competitiveness.
