Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description1 The work is devoted to the study of the physical and dynamical properties of those asteroids that have close approaches to the Earth and, on the one hand, pose the risk of collision with our planet, and on the other hand, are promising sources of minerals, alternative to traditional sources. The main aim is a detailed characterization of the physical properties, orbital evolution and origin of asteroids approaching the Earth, and selection of the most promising targets from the point of view of the future exploration of space resources. popup.description2 New high-precision observational data were obtained for 39 asteroids that approached the Earth in 2025, including 16 potentially hazardous objects and 4 newly discovered asteroids. Spectrophotometric observations were carried out during 112 nights using telescopes from 0.6 to 2 m at four observatories. Polarimetric observations were conducted during three nights with a 2-m telescope. For most of the studied asteroids, the rotation periods, absolute magnitudes, and color indices in the BVRI bands were determined for the first time or significantly refined. Estimates of their sizes, shapes, and compositional types were also obtained. New contact binary systems were identified, and new cases of extremely rapid and unstable rotation of small asteroids were discovered. The program for constructing shape models of contact binary asteroids based on photometric and radar observations was improved. Numerical modeling of the orbital evolution of meteoroids was carried out, and a database of possible associations between meteorites with known pre-atmospheric orbits and near-Earth asteroids was created. The obtained results expand the existing observational data on near-Earth asteroids and will be used for further studies of their evolution, assessment of asteroid hazard, and planning of future space missions.
