The aim of the research work is to develop the theoretical and legal basis for the activities of the NGU as part of Ukraine's security and defence sector, the specifics of performing tasks during the legal regime of martial law, determining the specifics of performing tasks in stabilisation operations, preparing proposals on ways to solve current problems and develop national legislation in this area based on best practices and advanced experience gained by units of the NGU during armed aggression; improving the legal and organisational framework for the activities of the NGU.
