Aim of the study: determining the current migration parameters of technogenic radionuclides in forest ecosystems based on forest typology. Methodology of the study: methods of comparative ecology, soil science, forestry and forest science, forest inventory, geobotany, general and radiation ecology, mathematical statistics. The patterns of 137Cs accumulation in edible mushrooms (20 species) growing under different types of forest site conditions were investigated. The vertical migration of 137Cs in forest soils of the Polissia region was studied using data from sample plots. The specific activity of 137Cs was measured in the collected samples to assess the current levels of radioactive contamination in forest products and to evaluate the intensity of 137Cs transfer within forest ecosystems.
