The final report on the implementation of the research work "Improving of energy security in local electricity networks" is laid out on 16 pages The purpose of the research project “Improving of energy security in local electricity networks” is development of methods for improvement of energy security in local electricity networks due to rational sectioning and system management of normal and post-emergency modes of distributed generation The object of the research is local electric networks with distributed generation. Methods have been developed to identify the locations of power sources for energy islands within electrical distribution networks, taking into account the multi-criteria nature of this task. Methods and approaches for forming energy islands in distribution electric networks with distributed generation have been developed to ensure high energy efficiency and reliability of electricity supply to consumers. Methods and approaches have been proposed for the rational sectionalizing of local 6–20 kV electrical power networks, including those with existing local power sources, to enhance the reliability of consumer power supply. According to the results of the research, one article was published in a Scopus-indexed periodical, five conference papers in Scopus-indexed publications, one specialized publication (Category B), and 15 conference abstracts across 11 national and international conferences.
