Purpose of investigation: development, scientific and technical grounds and clnical approbation of a system of complex etiopathogenetic treatment of patients with the glenohumoral joint instability. Methods of investigation: clinical and roentgenological examining. Results of investigation. On the basis of new methods of examination, the differential diagnosing of variable types of the glenohumoral joint instability and specially selected and pathogenetically oriented operations, a system of complex pathogenetically grounded treatment of patients with the glenohumoral joint instability is created. Clinical approbation of the above mentioned systems showed its high efficiency - there were found no cases of mistaken or incomplete diagnosis or instability recidivation during the postoperaive period. New knowledge concerning the role of torsion in the stabilization of the glenohumoral joint allowed to substantiate torsional osteot omy of the shoulder as a pathogenetically valid operation when treating dysplastic insyability. The acquired knowledge can be used in clinical practice for the refined clinical diagnosing, right choosing of curative measures, a maximum number of positive results of the treatment.
