Investigation of the effect of the preliminary plastic deformation (PPD) and preliminary treatment by shot (PTS) on the accelereted mass transfer of implantation elements during N and C saturation . High temperature radiography, electronic microscopy, microstructure, microhardness analysis was used. Nitrided layers with optimal properties are formed after defined (10-20%) PPD and (60-80%) PTS.
