Information × Registration Number 0300U002304, 0100U001751 , R & D reports Title Objects of the research is a spiral accumulator for hot-rolled strip technological reserve for continuous picker. Purposes of the research are determination of tension changing pattern in strip coils when the strip is drawing in and discharging out of the accumulator and optimization of accumulator control conditions. For the first time, theoretical dependence of strip coils tension in spiral accumulator, which takes into account coils weight, has been obtained and proposals on optimizations of strip tension characteristic in the process of its drawing and discharging are elaborated. The results of this research have been used during bench-tests of strip spiral accumulator for the HTA-1 at Zaporozhstal Metallurgical Combinate, and offered to be used for new elaboration.
