Special scheme of scintillator surface quality measurement using laser was developed. Pursuant to this scheme the surface quality will be defined according to laser beam intensity after multiple reflections from side edges. It was established, that samples processed with a diamond cutter have the most high operating parameters. Optimum processing conditions, in particular the cutting rate, were determined. Polishing compound was obtained.
