The work purpose - an improvement of the manufacture technology of rammed mullite corundum mixture of the brand MMK-88. The research methods - chemical, spectral, electronmicroscopic and petrographycal, physico-chemical and thermomechanical. Comparative research of properties of rammed mullite corundum mix containing as a binder the phosphoric acid of different typers and concentration was carried out. An advisability of an employment when manufacturing mullite corundum mixes of the solution of extracted phosrchoric acid with a density of 1,2-1,3 g/cm 3 instead of more expensive and scarce thermal ortophosporus acid with a density 1,38-1,42 g/cm3 which allows to broaden the natural raw materials basis for the manufacture of above mentioned rammed mixes. In OJSC " The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after Berezhnoy" trial lots of rammed mullite corundum mixes of brands MMK-88-1 and MMK-88 which were transferred to the possesion of metallurgical and machine building plants of the Ukraine. The scientific work should be continued for the purpose of broadening an introduction of developed manufacture technology of rammed mix and further improvement of its quality.
