Head Klymenko Viktor Ivanovych, Registration Date 15-02-2002 Organization Research Centre for Radiation Medicine popup.description2 The aim of study was to find the peculiarity of cellular, subcellular and molecular disturbances in myelodysplastic syndrome and their role in the development of radiation-induced leukemia in persons suffered from the Chernobyl accident. Object of investigation: adults and childrens with MDS and leukemia. It was investigated 6 children with acute myeloid leukemia transformed from myelodysplastic syndrome and 21 adults with myelodysplastic syndrome. The methods of study were clinical, immunological, morphological, cytological, citogenetical, molecular and mathematical. It was foud that the frequency of karyotype disturbances have depended from the variant of disorder. It was found the typical for secondary myelodysplastic syndrome citogenetic abnormalities (inv(16), 5q-, -7, 11р-, 12р-, del/inv(16), 20q-, 1р-, 3р-, 3q-). The point mutations of p53 gene were found in patients with secondary myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia post myelodysplastic syndrome. The changes of immune cells a ntigens were diagnosed in all patients with myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
