The work purpose is an improvement of the manufacture technology of powders from stabilized zirconium dioxide for the plasma spraying. The research methods and apparatus are chemical, petrographycal and roentgenstructurius. Additions of SAS, their type, an amout and the introduction methods of an addition were studied which allowed to increase the flowability of powders by 8 - 15%. It was shown that the storage time of powder of a fraction 40 -20 m with additions of SAS does not influence their properties and the flowability is not deteriorated in this case. The change draft N 4 for TI 14-IR-35-98 was elaborated. The applied scientific work was in the OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S.Berezhnoy".
