Berezhnoy" popup.description2 The research object - the rammed refractory castable mix of corundum silicon carbide composition. Work purpose - the manufacture technology development of corundum silicon carbide rammed mix. The laboratory research of an influence of technological parameters on properties of the rammed mix of corundum silicon carbide composition was carried out. Optimum substance and chemical composition of the given mix was determined. Trial samples of the castable were produced which are characterized by following indices of properties: mass share of Al2O3 - 86,5 - 87,0%, Fe2O3 - 0,5 - 0,7%, SiC - 87 - 89%; compression strength after 7 complete days of hardening at 1450oC - 52,0 -53,7 MPa, open porosity - 20,9 -21,0 %, apparent density - 2,93 - 2,95 g/cm3, refractoriness - > 1780oC. As a result of carried out research the normative documentation (TИ and ТУ У) and trial lots of castable mix were produced. Industrial testings of corundumsiliconcarbide castable in the lining of ferroalloy ladles were carried out.The obtained stability of the lining of ladles makes up 120 powring and more.
