Work purpose is the research of natural raw materials for the manufacture of refractories of alumosilicate composition. In an electric arc furnace OKБ-514 smeltings of corundum and mullite on the basis of different aluminas with a removal of material balances were carried. ТI 24-ИО-84-2002 "The manufacture of fused corundum and mullite into block" The research of hungarian alumina "J" showed a high content in it of Al2O3 ( 97 -98%) and the possibility to use it in the vibratory casting of mullitecorundum products. The quality analyses of kaoline of Balashowsky deposit showed high indices of Al2O3 ( more than 44%) and as to the quality it is not inferior to kaolines of deposits worked out in the Ukraine. The recommendations on an employment of natural raw materials of Krasnogorovsky refractory plant for the manufacture of mullite corundum refracturis of the brand MKBH, MKB according to 20901-75 were worked out. Certification testings of refractory milled clay ascertained its conformance with the brand ПГОСБ according to ТУУ 322-7-00190503-086-97. Trial lots of powders of fused corundum of indispensable fractions were produced and sent for testing.
