Purpose of the research - to develop and provide for the functioning of a civilized land market as an inevitable component of the land management. The currently existing legal and regulatory framework for the land market in Ukraine has been studied. It was established that the methods of the economic valuation of land and prices for land were based on relative and non-objective indicators which reflect the soil fertility.
