It agrees infrared spectroscopy of the rest coal (matrix) and humic substances have close structure and differ only oxygen containing groups. It agrees to the data on adsorption initial and residual coal it is possible to use as a sorbent for not polar and polar organic connections. Thus substances of the sour nature have the best adsorption. Compounding initial and residual coal also it is possible with organic substances of the different nature, however is more effective with the substances having the sour nature.
