The analysis of a modern condition of development of tourism is carried out. The recreational capacity of territories of Drogobych area is determined. The estimation of material base of recreational sphere and problems of their functioning is carried out. Priority tasks of development of recreational sphere, the list of the basis actions of the Program are proved. It is developed the mechanism of realization of the Program of development of tourism in Drogobychskom area, it is proved financial, organizational and institutional maintenance of the Program.
