Head Protchenko Pavel, Registration Date 17-12-2003 Organization Odessa state medical university popup.description2 In 120 cases of reproductive losses at various stages of gestation serological research of blood was carried out on presence of antibodies to pathological agents of TORCH group infections, tissues and placentas of fetuses/ children on presence of antigenes of this group and in 52 cases - morpho-histological study of placentas were conducted. In 30,8 % of cases the various variants of pathological immaturity of placenta, in 34,6 % - inflammatory changes, and in 17,3 %-combined pathology were registered. According to our data, in inflammatory changes of placentas the greatest etiological importance had herpes simplex-virus, chlamydial and mycoplasmal infections, in pathological immaturity of placenta - viruses of herpes and rubella. At absence of inflammatory changes in placentas in 88,9 % of cases different malfomations were registered (in this group in 55,6 % of children the antibodies to toxoplasma were determined, thus in 60 % of positive results titres of IgG-antibodies were 2-4 times more thanthreshold meaning), at presence of inflammatory changes in placentas - inflammatory processes of various organes and tissues were registered.
