Two enzymes (acetylcholine esterase and butyrylcholine esterase) as well as two types of transducers (conductometric planar electrodes and pH-sensitive field-effects transistors) were used. Minimal concentration that can be detected by the biosensor comprised 5x10-11 M for diisopropylfluorophosphate, 5x10-9 M for paraoxon ethyl, 3x10-7 M for trichlorfon, 5x10-6 M for paraoxon methyl, 2x10-6 M for carbofuran, и 5x10-6 M for parathion methyl. Analytical characteristics of the developed biosensors were optimized for the work with the model solutions. For the re-activation of the enzyme after inhibition pyrydyn-2-aldoxime metiodide, which is able of destroying catalytically inactive complex of diisopropylfluorophosphate ester and recover the enzyme active site, was used. The developed biosensor can be used as the "early-warning system" for detection of organophosphorous pesticides in agricultural products. The developed analytical method is very quick and simple.
