Head Omelchuk Volodymyr Yukhymovych, Registration Date 30-01-2004 Organization The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine popup.description2 Within the subject there were created databases of the national bibliography of Ukraine, in particular those of: the Ukrainian book (1798-1923), the Ukrainian editions of foreign Ukrainics, sheet art editions (Ukrainian posters, 1917-2001), Ukrainian sheet music of the 1924-1930, manuscript and old-printed cartography of the XVI-XVIII s., Ukrainian newspapers of the 1816-1922. Structures of the databases, scientific and bibliography editions that are to be realized as a result of the performance of the project, methodological and methodical principles of creating databases of separate editions (those of books, sheet music, arts, cartography, newspaper editions) and of the formats of their electronic bibliographical processing, methodic of the scientific catalogues' description; there were prepared for printing a series of editions the "National Bibliography of Ukraine" were being developed. A database of the Ukrainian Book Summary Catalogue were being formed. The main result of the completion of the project is the edition, within the "National Bibliography of Ukraine" series, of three volumes of cumulative bibliographical index "Ukrainian book in the funds of the V.Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. 1798-1923" and of the fifth edition of the bibliographical index "A Book in Ukraine, 1861-1917: Materials to the repertory of the Ukrainian book". There were also published such anniversary editions as "V.Vernadsky. Scientist. Thinker. Citizen. Works of the scientist and literature about him from the VNLU funds", "Editions of the Social Sciences and the Humanities Section of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 1998-2003".
