The problem of contact electrical and thermal resistance on cascade TEC boundaries influencing on its power efficiency is reviewed. The adequate model of the cascade TEC is designed. This model allows to calculate TEC characteristics subject to irreversible losses on contacts. The algorithm for TECs parameters calculation and optimization is offered. The computer program for realise designed algorithms is created. The estimation of limit capabilities of height thermoelectric legs decrease is made. The values of contact resistances and types of ceramics, which one are capable to supply the reasonable characteristics of the cascade TECs are determined.
