The object of the research is the impact of introduction of ecologically clean technologies upon the level of competitive ability of agroindustrial production. The aim of the research is the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the conceptual basis for transition towards ecologically clean agroindustrial production. The theoretical and methodological basis of research is dialectic method of knowledge, system approach o studying economic processes, legislative and standart acts of the authorities of Ukraine related to the problems of agroindustrial complex development, papers of national and foreign scientists concerning the problems of competitive ability of production and forming food markets. During the work the following methods of economic research were applied: system-structural method, abstractedly logical method, comparative method, balance method, correlation and regression analysis, method of expert judgement, etc.The results of this scientific-research work are: working out the methodological basis of determining the impact of environmental pollution upon the level of population health, the methods of taking into account damage due to environmental pollution in the form of loss of competiive ability of national agroindustril production and reduction of population health level, the mechanisms of rising quality of agroindustrial poduction by means of spreading ecologically clean agroindustrial technologies and observance of ecological standards of agroindustrial production quality. The results of the scientific-research work constitute the scientific novelty because the authors have grounded the theoretical basis and methodic principles of transition towards ecologically clean technologies of agroindustrial production taking into consideration ecological-economic understanding of competitive ability of agroindustrial production. The authors have elaborated some recommendations related to improving ecological component of agroindustrial production quality taking into consideration reserves of spreading ecologically clean clean agroindustrial technologies. The results of this work would be helpful during the development of national agrarian policy.
