The mechanisms of failure of cast irons and graphitic steels, high-speed steels, chromium-nickel alloys under influence of viscous corrosive mediums have been studied. The criteria have been offered and the technique of diagnostics of material failure under such conditions have been designed. The results of researches will be used at plants of a glass industry.
