The objective of the work is the development of technically grounded norms of heat consumption for cokemaking allouring for the design, techical state of batteres, properties of coal blends, amount and range of the products and process conditios of carbonisation. In the course of the work a procedure has been developed for calculation f standard consumption of heat and coke oven gas according to the parameters of coal blend, coking conditions, geometrical dimensions of coke ovens, climatic conditions and yields of chemical by-products. Apart from this a computer programme has been developed allowing current calculation of standard consumption of heat and gas, predictive calculation taking into account the alteration range f the parameters of coal blend and carbonisation conditions.
