Industrial tests of a low cement alumina spinel guniting castable of earlier developed composition during the repair realization of steel ladles. With regard for results of industrial tests and for the purpose of subsequent perfecting the manufacture technology of above - mentioned guniting castable laboratorial investigations of an influence of its grain and substance composition on indices of service characteristics were conducted. The manufacture technology of alumina spinel low cement guniting castable of improved composition ( with a limit size of the aggregate grain 3mm and with an addition of organic polypropylene fiber) was organized at the pilot scale production of O.J.S.C."Ukrniio named after A.S.Berezzhnoy". The trial lot of above-mentioned guniting castable was successfully tested during the realization of hot and cool repairs of steel ladles linings of steelmelting shop.The demand for a supposed invention has been submitted. The work should be continued for the purpose of successful employment of a low cement alumina spinel guniting castable for the repair of steel ladles as well as for a subsequent perfecting a manufacture technology of above mentioned castable.
