Work purpose - manufacture of new types of anorthite lightweigt materials. Research methods - chemical, petrographical, mercury porosimetry physico mechanical, roentgenphase, thermophysical. The influence research of foamforming agents on properties of a anorthite lightweight material was carried out and the manufacture technology of anorthite lightweight materials with apporent density not more than 0,6 g/cm3 and compression strength 2,5 MPa was developed. Macro-, microstructures as well as distributions of pores according to sizes in anortite lightweight material with apparent density from 0,4 up to 1,1 g/cm3 and different poreforming agents were researched. It was ascertained that a somple with a share of pores reaching 99% has a lesser thermal conductivity. Physico mechanical and thermophysical properties of anorthite lightweight material AL-0,8 and AL-0,6 were researched. It was established that values of soffening temperature under lood 0,1 MPa for AL-0.8 and a foamed lightweight material with apporent density 0,6 g/cm3 are in a interval 1250-1340 C . The gas permeability for all samples is inversely proportional to apparent density ( app.) and does not depend on ither indices of properties. Thermal expansion of sample of foamed lightweight material with apparent density 0,6 g/cm3 is on the level of products AL-0,8. Specific volume elecctrical resistance of anorthite lightweight materials exceds by 2-3 orders requrements laid to dense anorthite and porous cordierite insulators. Technological investigations were carried out and a heat insulating castable with microporous anorthite filling agent for the service temperature 1200 C c- p app.= 1,3 g/cm3 and comp.=4,4 MPa after 7 complete days of hardening. In accordance with contracts trial lots of lightweight materials of brands AL-0,8 and ШЛ-1,3 were produced. Products were transferred to the possession for customer for an employment in production conditions. The work should be continued for the purpose of introducing the manufacture technology of anorthite lightweight material with apparent density 0,6 g/cm3 and expanding employment sites.
