Work purpose - the technology finishing of corundumpericlase and mullitecorundum crucibles for melting of hightemperature melts. Investigations of properties of corundumpericlase and corundumspinel mixes of optimum composition with different moisture have been carried out. It was shown that mixes possess an equal stepped mechanism of structure forming analogous for dispersive systems.Technological parameters of crucibles preparation that is the time in the course of which mix preserves a vibrational mobility that ensurs quality vibroscasting of products and the holding time of a green body in the mould were determined. The research on the firing temperature influence on properties of corundumpericlase samles was carried out as well as the change dependencies of properties were determined. Optimum firing temperature of corundum periclase crucibles was ascertained. Carried out testings of corundum periclase crucibles showed the stability of 15-16 melts as well as a yield increase of suitable castings as to nonmetaliec inclusions by 10% compared with castings produced when using mullitecorundum crucibles. Optimum firing temperature of corundumpericlase crucibles was determined. An increase of suitable metal production is explained by an adsorbing effect of corundumpericlase crucibles. Trial lots of crucibles were produced and delivered for testing of 6 standard sizes of mullitecorundum, corundum periclase and corundumspinel compositions. The work should be continued for the purpose of working out crucibles on the basis of periclase and spinel as well as working - out crucibles of new configurations and testing of trial crucibles.
