Work purpose - the manufacture technology mastering of new standard sizes of refractories for the glass manufacture as well as for glassproducts manufacture. Research methods - chemical. petrographical, physicomechanical, spectral. The research on the finishing of the manufacture technology of mullitecorundum shaped densified refractories for the upper structure of glassmaking furnaces was carried out. The material and grain compositions of mullitecorundum refractory ensuring a high density were chosen. The manufacture technologies of intricately shaped products of 10 new standard sizes for the glassmaking furnaces: bowls, tray, plunger, bushing, eyes and burner block: constructions of forms for a vibrocasting were worked - out as well as grain compositions of blends were chosen. The drying and firing schedules of largesized intricately shaped products are optimized. Trial lots of mullitecorundum vibrocast refractories for feeders of glassforming machines, for lines intended for rolling of sheet glas and for rolling of a glasswire as well as of pressed shaped refractories for the upper structure of glassmaking furnace were produced. Trial mullitecorundum products sent to 17 glassmaking plants of Ukraine fully comply with requirements of the service conditions. The work should be continued for the purpose of improving the vibrocasting technology of intricatelly shaped products of new configurations.
