Work purpose - perfecting a technology of chromic oxide refractories for sets intended for a glassfiber manufacture and the production of trial lots of products. Research methods - chemical analysis; optical microscopy; research of vibrocast mixes properties; fluidity during the vibration, flowability in accordance with ENV 1402 - 4,desintegration of coagulation structure with a help of cone plastometer; standard procedures for determination of open porosity, apparent density, compression strength when compressing samples of products. It was ascertained that vibrocast finelygrained chromic oxide mixes have the greatest fluidity at the vibration amplitude 0,5 - 0,7 mm and a frequency 50 - 70 Hz that it in line with a vibroacceleraztion of 5 - 14 g. An influence of addition of SAS (surface active substances), a moisture of mixes, an amount of organic binder on the desintegration processes and processes of coagulation structures in vibrocast finely graine chromic oxide mixes was researched. It was established that these mixes are of dilatant nature. In the vibration process the dilatance of mixes becomes lesser marked.It was shown that desintegration processes and the processes of coagulation structures take pleace simultaneously as well as their stepped nature was revealed. The values of technological parameters were determined at which the viscosity of mixes and the strength of recovered structure have maximum meanings. The structure recovery time in mixes prepared on the basis of water and of organic binder was ascertained. The extent of structures recovery in mixes was determined.The research on the putting into production the vibrocasting technology of chromic oxide refractories in conditions of a pilot scale production of O.J.S.C"Ukrniio named after A.S.Berezhnoy" during the manufacture of a trial lot of large scaled products has been carried out. Parameters of the main technological process stages: the preparation of a shaping mix, shaping. drying, firing and mechanical processing of products were worked through. Indices of properties of manufactured pressed products satisty requirements of ТУУ 26.2-00190503-229-2002 for ХОСУ and ХОСС, brands and properties of vibrocast products are in line with ХОСУ brand. These products were installed in the lining of one staged set for the production of a glassfiber. Vibrocast products were installed for the first time into a brickwork of the canal of a glassmaking furnace and a feeder system instead of imported products which were used earlier. Inspection of a refractory brick work of glassmaking furnace and feeders of industrial onestaged set N 4 for the manufacture of a glass fiber O.J.S.C." Polotsk Steklovolokno" during the overhaul after the compaign termination with a duration of 4 years and 6 months has been carried out. Identical wear - out of chrome oxide refractories of the company production "Dyko" (Germany) and O.J.S.C"Ukrniio named after A.S.Berezhnoy" was ascertained. Conclusions were drawn and therecommendation on a rational use of refractories and an improvement of the set construction were presented. The work should be continued for the purpose of working - out a drying schedule of vibrocast large scale products as well as working out of devices for their raising and transportation, elaborating, a determination procedure of a mix moisture, perfecting a vibrocasting technology during a manufacture of trial lots of chromic oxide products with increased thickness.
