Work purpose - manufacture technology development of vibrocast siliconcarbide refractories on alumosilicate binder and production of trial lots.Physico-mechanical, chemical. petrographical methods of analysis were used when carrying out a work. In this work an influence of a grain composition, an amount of milled silicon carbide, clayish component and its kind on properties of vibrocast silicon carbide refractories on alumosilicate binder was researched as well as their optimum composition was ascertained.The firing temperature influence on properties of vibro cast refractories was investigated. It was established that for mixes in which a clay was introduced optimum temperature is 1350o C and with kaoline it was 1380o C. An influence of silicon additives was researched as well as of active alumina CTC-40 in combina tion with dispersive aluminas ADS and ADW on the main indices of properties of vibrocast refractories was reseacrhed.It was ascertained that an additive in an optimum amount of Si influences positively on the properties indices. A greater influence of silicon becomes apparent in a refractory containing kaolin as a clayish component. Refractory material with open porosity 16,9 - 17,2 %, apporent density 2,62 - 2,63 g/cm3, compession strength -60 - 65 MPa, mass share SiC - 85 - 86%, Al2O3 - 2,9 - 3% was produced. The given indices are in line with requirements ГОСТ for brand KA. An application for supposed invention of the given composition was handed in . Results of carried - out research allowed to work - out the main technological paeameters for the manufacture of vibrocast silicon carbide refractories on alumosilicate binder. Trial lots of vibrocast refractories of several compositions were produced. All properties of refractories correspond to indices mentioned when arrangenent a task in a given work. Trial lots of pressed siliconcarbide refractories on alumosilicate binder in correspondance with requirement of functioning ТУ (technical specification) were produced and delivered to customers. The work should be continued for the purpose of the subsequent perfection of the manufacture technology of vibrocast siliconcarbide products on alumosilicate binder.
