Karazin popup.description2 The object of investigation — research of calcium phosphate ceramics with incorporated magnesium ions in cation lattice. The purpose of work — study of the mechanical characteristics of calcium phosphate ceramics with introduced magnesium ions in cation lattice. The production of hydroxyapatite ceramics with different degree of dispersion of powders. Methods — X-ray analysis, infra-red spectroscopy, optical, electron microscopy. It has been established, that the introduction of magnesium ions as an impurity in cation lattice by means of addition of magnesium oxide has led to formation of weak grain boundary and reduction of grain sizes. It has resulted in improvement of the plastic characteristics of ceramics. And also, using two powders which had sizes less than 45 microns and 100-200 microns the hydroxylapatite ceramics with improved compressive strength 400 MPa for dense, 70 MPa for porous and 20 MPa for macroporous was received. It has been shown that the powder with particle sizes 100-200 micronstake part of the armated additive.
