The work has the aim to develop and to test industrially the recommendations on rational using of the American coal at the JSC "Avdeevsky Coke Works". A complex investigation of the American coal has been done, including the determination of genetic and technological indicls. The coke, produced from the blend with the American coal, has a lower ash and high drum strength.
