Elemental composition of these waters was compared with the background indices in the mineral waters of the region. Epidemiologic investigations revealed some peculiarities in the morbidity rate of the population in the selected areas and confirmed that these indices may be influenced by the continuous intake of mineral waters of different composition and testify the necessity of elements (in particular boron, silicon) biological assimilation study in conditions of continuous and course intake.
