.Object of research - This research concerns a material of the A18M product made by "YuMZ" Production Association. The goal of the workis an expertise based on the preferre'11nce function to prolong the life of the material of the YuMZ A18M productup to 18 years. Methods used: a methal of expertises, methods of applied mathematical statistics and the tpeory of probability. Methodic sapport and softuare for e evaluation of a possibility of prolonging rhe life of the A18M product material based oh the preferrence function and the ranging correlation method. The R8D results can de used ih the form of software in evaluating the life of the A18m product material. A methodic supporf can be employed to assess the residual Life of engineering products.
